These super-six had a fantastic evening at the North Wales Endurance open at Deeside this past friday night. All six opted for the 800m and provided a great evening of racing with some massive PB’s.
First up was Ruben running with the u15 boys. After taking his first lap in a very decent 70 seconds, he ramped up the pace on the second lap to run a negative split finishing in 2.18.24 knocking 9 seconds off his PB and finishing third in a very competitive field! Next up were the u15 and u13 girls.
U15 Casi provided a super-strong sprint finish to finish in 2.45.37 also taking a huge 9 seconds off her previous PB and finishing 2nd in the u15 girls race.
Caitlin finished with a PB of 2.50.50 coming in as third u13 girl while Aneia ran in 3.02.22 as sixth out of the eight u13’s in her race.
Last up were siblings Gruff and Eira. Gruff stepped up for his first race in two years and totally destroyed his previous PB by a huge 21 seconds finishing with a time of 2.11.88 finishing as third male u20. Eira was first u17 lady and took 2 seconds off her previous recorded PB to break the elusive 2.30 mark finishing in 2.29.47. Well done to all of you, a great evening of competition and fantastic to see you all going from strength to strength, there is definitely much more to come for sure
