North Wales Inter Regional Championships 2024

Saturday saw the annual Welsh interregional championships, a national match between teams from North, East, South and West Wales in the under 15’s and above age groups. The event was held this year in the North, with team managers Tania (Deeside AAC), Barry and Andy (Menai T&F) selecting athletes with North Wales qualification based upon their current Power of 10 rankings to represent the North Wales team.

 

Well done to all the Colwyn Bay athletes selected to represent North Wales at this level; Oliver, Cari, Connor, Lydia, Kane, Jacob, Huw, Morgan, Eira, Ciara and Ella . We saw many amazing performances, a raft of individual and relay medals and some cracking PB’s . A fantastic turnout from the home team meant that North Wales topped the competition for points in both Male and Female competitions meaning an easy victory across the whole match - da iawn team North Wales
