Trafford Medal Meet 1st April 2024

Massive achievements for the fantastic four in action on the 1st April at the Trafford u11/u13/u15 medal open.

 

 

Sienna, Gethin, Finley and Ruben all stepped up for this busy and competitive open against athletes from across the North West of England.

Finley (u13) showcased his high jump talent clearing 1.40m and topping the age group to claim a gold medal before heading straight over to his 800m race. He ran 2.38.31, winning his heat .

Gethin (U15) followed Finn to race 800m for his first ever track race for the club running 2.48.44 and was the first boy in his heat. Well done Gethin .

Sienna (u11) continued her fine form with a silver in the long jump (3.27m) and gold in the 75m (11.48) and 150m (23.20) Fantastic .

Last up on the day was Ruben (u15) again running his first ever track race taking on the 1500m and clinching an amazing win in his heat in a fiercely close race with a time of 5.06.01. Excellent performances everyone, well done all.
