Twin Piers
Well that’s a wrap for the 2024 Arthur Bebbington twin piers 10k road race and 3k junior race. After a forced break of four years due to Covid and road works on the prom we finally made it back! The Arthur Bebbington twin piers 10k has been renamed in remembrance of the late ‘Arthur Bebb’ who sadly passed away in 2021. Arthur gave 30 years of dedicated service to the development of the athletics club in Colwyn Bay. As a tribute today, his grandson Daniel Bebbington raced the 10k race today wearing Colwyn Bay colours. The athletics genes must be running strong as Daniel also won the race in a fantastic time of 29.47! What a great tribute to Arthur Bebbington!
