Weekend Round Up 21st & 22nd Auugst

What a fabulous weekend of competition we had this weekend 
Friday evening was kicked off with the endurance open evening at Deeside where we had five athletes in action; Tom and Elis in the 800m, Ruben and Eben in the mile, and Joe C in the 3000m. Saturday saw our final North Wales based track and field open of the year as athletes stepped up for the Menai open in Bangor.
Running for the under 10’s, we had Maeve, Lwsi and Arlo, for the u12’s we had Elijah, Isaiah, Jack, Jona, Fran, Enfys and Maddie, for the under 14’s we had Lois, Faye, Anya and Sienna, u16’s we had Geth, Caitlin, Elin, Julia and Aneia, while for the u18’s we had Jake, Lyds, Casi and Eben. The performances given by everyone were fantastic, great to see all the hard work paying off with personal bests, seasons bests and medals steamrolling in for everybody 
. As ever, the cheers from the Colwyn Bay corner were the loudest of the day!

Although Saturday was the final open in North Wales, there are one or two competitors available for early September in Manchester
