Weekend Round Up 27th & 28th June

Saturday 27th saw Ifan battling not only the sunshine and heat but the rolling Welsh fells in the Welsh Junior Fell Championship - well done Ifan

 

 

Then Sunday 28th saw our Seniors and coaches in action, we had:

Tony (coach), John (coach and CBAC Snr) and Rob (CBAC Snr) race head on into the wind for the Nova coastal half marathon. All did exceptionally well with Tony and Rob coming in within seconds of each other in the lead pack. John followed shortly after claiming his 5th half marathon medal of the year.

 

Down in Cardiff Jacob Edghill (Coach and CBAC Snr) was competing in the Senior Welsh championships, he jumped fantastically well to secure himself a new PB! Yes that is correct…6.95m  Also competing was our under 18 athlete Ianto who competed in the 100m and 200m with times of 11.67s and 23.48s

 

Lastly but certainly not least, Jordan (Coach and CBAC Snr) was in action at the Welsh Masters Track and Field Championships im Yate, Bristol. Jordan came home triple GOLD champion winning the long jump, triple jump and 100m for his age category!
