Weekend Round Up

Saturday the 7th February saw two more of our athletes in indoor track action, this time at the U17 and senior age group Welsh championships in Cardiff.
Ruben (u17) was first up racing the 1500m. In a very strong field where he started on the line up with the fifth fastest time, Ruben gave a strong battle to claim an amazing bronze 
, smashing his PB with a new time of 4.18.17 - well done Ruben 
, smashing his PB with a new time of 4.18.17 - well done Ruben Next up was Cari (u17) racing in the 60m sprint. Cari sailed through her heat landing a spot in the final where she finished in an impressive 4th in a time of 8.16, narrowly off her PB. Ardderthog Cari 
A big shout out to Sam (senior men, Eryri) who gets his track training with our Monday evening seniors who ran in the men’s 1500m, smashing his PB in a time of 4.46.91
Closer to home on Saturday, some of our senior athletes were in action braving the challenge of the Conwy mountain fell race. Well done all, plus a second in age group place for Josh
