Weekly Round Up 19th - 26th July

A huge well done to Ruben who had a day to remember on Saturday at Derby running for the first time in the Wales team at the international SIAB championships. The weather conditions were absolutely soaking and the competition was fierce. The 1500m steeplechase is a gruelling test of strength and endurance across 12 barriers including 4 water jumps and yesterday’s race was all the more tricky given the very wet conditions. Ruben kept his nerve and landed all safely finishing his race in 7th - well done Ruben, a huge competition to run in and a brilliant achievement of which you should be very proud

Also this week we had Isla competing in the long established 'Race The Train' in Caernarfon and Isla was the first girl across the finishing line. Well done to Isla, the next 'Race the Train' Will take place on 22nd July 2026.

A big well done to both and its good to see all the hardwork in training reaping rewards.
