Welsh Junior National Championship

First up was Caitlin in the first of three talent packed heats in the under 15 girls 800m. Caitlin was 6th out of 8 in her heat, running a time of 2.37.21 - a massive 5 second PB for Caitlin

 

 

Elin ran in the second heat of the u15 girls 800m coming in 2nd to cruise through to the finals in a time of 2.24.62, not far off her PB mark. She then stepped up for the 300m heats and suprised herself with a PB time of 44.59 and a place in the final.

 

Lois was up next in a hugely busy u13 girls 800m run over 6 heats. Lois came in 2nd place in her heat in a time of 2.42.08 placing her 16th out of 44 competitors - fantastic .

 

Elin then had the challenge of two back to back finals at the end of the afternoon with the 300m and 800m. After running tactically in the 300m to protect her legs, she blasted her way to 4th in the 800m final, narrowly missing out on a podium place. Absolutely well done to all three of you (and parents too!), all three are in the lower year of their age group this year and are putting in phenomenal performances
