Welsh Senior and U17 Championships Cardiff

Cari the rocket managed a fantastic new PB in the u17 100m of 12.58 taking her through to a tough final where she came a fantastic 5th . Day 2 saw her running a seasons best time in the 200m but narrowly missing out on the final this time. Da iawn Cari

Jake gave brave performances in both the 100m and 200m but unfortunately a hamsting niggle hampered his target of reaching the finals. He was able to make use of the physio’s on hand to address his injury so hopefully with a bit of rest and rehab he’ll be fighting fit soon

Kane ran the 100m and 200m in a very stacked u23 and senior age group which featured athletes from across Great Britain. No finals for Kane but great to see him running competitively again

Jacob was also jumping with the British contingents in the long jump. His best jump of the day landed him a Welsh bronze medal - fantastic

Bryn was racing in the u23 1500m. After sailing through the heats on Saturday he missed out narrowly on a British podium finish coming in 4th in a very tightly packed race. Bryn did secure secure a Welsh championship gold as the first Welshman across the finish
